Octopus Resort is on a western facing bay on Waya Island known as Likuliku Bay. Its white sand beach was included by Condé Nast Traveller in 1999 in its list of the world's top ten beaches. There is a lagoon and coral reef ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

The resort has a central restaurant & bar and a variety of affordable accommodation options ranging from dormitory, to basic Fijian style bure, the Poppy's Lodge (for families and groups), private bungalows and luxury air-conditioned rooms at the end of the beach known as the Point.
