Otto & Fanny's Place is located on Tavewa Island in the heart of the Yasawa Islands which lie like a chain of blue beads off the north west coast of Viti Levu. Tavewa Island overlooks the Blue Lagoon, world famous after two Hollywood movies of the same name were filmed in these spectacularly beautiful islands, called the Yasawa's. The sheer natural beauty and tranquility of these islands comprising of turquoise waters lapping the shores of white sand beaches elevates the soul and in our opinion, here is where you will enjoy Fiji at its best.

The Yasawa Islands are a rare and romantic place where crystal clear waters are home to tropical fish and beautiful coral reefs offering spectacular diving and snorkeling. The Islands are alive with mystery and myths and it is here where the Fijian people live as they have for centuries with their traditional and simple lifestyle. Visit a village and experience the "real" Fiji or simply relax in "heaven on earth".

Accommodation
Otto & Fanny's Place has only six bures and all have their own toilet and shower. However, you will not find hot water nor will you find electricity which is powered by generators only.

Dining & Entertainment
You will be treated to the delicious cuisine cooked by either Fanny herself or her son Harry who have made a name for themselves for their wonderful culinary skills. Otto has constructed a new kitchen, thereby giving Fanny greater freedom in her creativity for mouth watering dishes. It is therefore no surprise that Otto & Fanny's has so many repeat guests.

Diving
West Side Water Sports, a PADI International member, is a fully outfitted dive centre with a full range of Sea Quest/US Divers rental gear, located on Tavewa Island (10 minutes away by boat). Their two custom made NAIAD dive boats (one 9 meter open boat and one 11.3 meter boat with a cabin) give quick access to the 20 dive sites available within a 10 mile radius of Tavewa and Oarsman's Bay.

These sites offer a wide range of underwater topography to explore walls, bommies, canyons, pinnacles and you can swim through waters decorated by colorful soft corals, sponges and sea fans. Encounters with sea turtles, reef sharks and majestic eagle rays are common. History buffs will enjoy exploring a shipwreck from the early 1900's.

Guided dives depart daily and all dives are staffed by PADI dive masters or instructors. They also offer a wide range of PADI courses from introductory dives through to Assistant Instructor.

Transfers to Otto & Fanny's.
Transfer to the resort is via Yasawa Flyer which departs Port Denarau at 8.30am daily. One way cost per person is FJ$120.00 each way.
