Barefoot Lodge is well run budget resort straddling a peninsula on the northern tip of Drawaqa Island in the central Tasawa Islands, with traditional thatch bures overlooking the beach. Nights are lit by Lanterns and Millions of stars, days are spent between hammocks and snorkelling the lagoon.

Experience a new adventure every day. Swim with manta rays, snorkel, trek overland, visit islands and traditional villages, go fishing, laze on deck or gain a few tips on tall ship sailing. Each evening return to the Barefoot Lodge where sunset swims, volleyball, night fishing tours, star gazing, Fijian 'lovo' feasts and nightly entertainment are all part of the fun. Accommodation
The Barefoot Lodge offers stunning coral gardens right off the beach where you can snorkel, kayak, and swim with the local manta rays; or spend a few lazy hours alternating between the hammock and lagoon.

The Lodge has a low impact policy. Where possible our aim is to; preserve the natural environment; maintain an authentic Fijian experience; and replace 21st Century noise with the silence of the stars. The Barefoot Lodge operates on very limited power sources.
Energy efficient systems are used to blend with the nature environment.

The accommodation is twenty twin share waterfront bures built and thatched in traditional style by local villagers. Each bure has two single beds which can be pushed together if you prefer (linen supplied but please BYO towel). The showers and toilets are communal with cool fresh water.

Dining & Entertainment
Meals are prepared by the local chef with the daily menus change from day to day . They are themed as Lovo Night, BBq Night, etc

Transfers to Barefoot Lodge.
Transfer to the resort is via Yasawa Flyer which departs Port Denarau at 8.30am daily. One way cost per person is FJ$136 each way.
